Last Monday, we lost someone very close to the local scene, Jamie Browder, wife of Mitch Browder, bassist for WHISKEY MOUNTAIN MACHINE.  Jamie had been fighting a very long battle with breast cancer and died just a day after I shaved my head for St. Baldrick’s Foundation for Kids’ Cancer Research.

The news came as a shock to me because I honestly thought she was getting better and I truly regret not having known her better than I did.  I saw her out at shows all the time and spoke to her only a few times here and there.

My heart goes out to Mitch and to all of Jamie’s family as this is without a doubt an insurmountable loss.  You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Jamie, you will be missed and I look forward to getting to know you better one day in the presence of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
