After a fun weekend of running around buying me some cool new shades and going with Tessa’s best friend Krista to get her first tattoo up in Shelby, NC, we started the week off with a Valentine’s Day surprise: RAT BABIES!!!!  It wasn’t a huge shock to Tessa and I since she was speculating that Mrs. Brisby (aka Brisa) was pregnant since she had gained a LOT of weight in the two weeks since we bought her and Ella.  However, the fact that we had purchased a pregnant rat was quite a less-than-pleasant surprise.

Oh well, at least they’re kinda cute in a weird and hairless sorta way…..want a rat?!
