Fate
Posted in: Uncategorized
Does fate determine what path you take? What happens to you if you deviate from the plan.? Are you destined to be with the people in your life? If so, then I why did I have so many bad relationships. Why do people cheat and ruin their marriage. How come you fall in and out of love with people. “The Adjustment Bureau” is a movie that tackles the issue of destiny. Matt Damon stars as John Norris, who is an up and coming Politian heading for the Senate. Emily Blunt, plays Elise. A choreographer-dancer, Who John can’t get out of his mind. What John doesn’t realize that he was never meant to meet Elise. Then, by chance he see her again. But, when a twist of fate puts them together,The Adjustment Bureau attempts to keep them apart at any cost. Elise is not supposed to meet John Norris. John was not supposed to sit next to her, let alone see her again. The twist of fate and timing puts the two together. The Adjustment Bureau sets out to keep them apart. It is a dark corporation that is responsible for keeping people on the right path to fulfill there predestine lives. The Adjustment Bureau men are a gangster- like characters who wear hats and suits. These guys follow the orders of the unseen Chairman to make sure everyone on earth is following the plan. The plan has been followed since the beginning of time. If John and Elise deviate from the plan, it will disrupt the cosmic order.? Elise was destined to marry someone else. It made me think of Gods Plan. Are we supposed to meet and have relationships with the people in our lives. Can we control our own lives and change the way we live them?. I know I have made some bad mistakes with some of the people that I have met along the way. I thought of this movie when Matt said, that he had revealed to a girl that he had a “crush” on her. How would Matt’s life be different if he was able to have a relationship with this girl is High School.? Would I be working with him?
