Today on the Rise Guys Morning Show we were discussing near death experiences.  I was amazed how many people called in to talk about their experiences.  I  touched on what happened to me when I was in the hospital.  I hemoraged and had comlications during surgery.   I woke up and already knew what had happened during my surgery.  I remember seeing Jesus standing in purple light.  I thought it was all the morphine that I was given that made me hallucinate.  But, maybe there was something to this.  I looked up colors and dreams and this what I found: “Purple is indicative of devotion, healing abilities, loving, kindness, and compassion. It is also the color of royalty, high rank,  justice, wealth and dignity.”  Definition of purple in dreams.  So maybe Jesus, or someone in my subconscious spoke to me to tell me what had happened to me, and that I was going to be fine.

He secures the house and sets the alarms

She says, “Honey, I’m fine, but now I need a Sprite!”

While looking at the moon shining so bright

Her hubby compares her eyes to its glorious light

Just incase they have to take

What happens when you get The Rise Guys together with “The White Trash Millionaires”?  You have a thing called a Rock and Bowl. The P1.s got a chance to hang out at Golden Lanes  with Black Stone Cherry. They were a really cool bunch of guys from Kentucky.  I  had heard that the band was awesome from a friend of mine,  Keith Age.  I did a Ghost Investigation with Keith.  He told me that I had to hear these guys play. Keith told me that their recording studio was haunted.  Obviously,  I was intrigued by that information. I found out while chatting with the band members that they recorded one of their videos in Waverly Hills. Tuberculosis Hospital.  However, my favorite part of the rock and bowl was the air hockey match with my Husband and Fatboy.  It was hilarious.  Later on that night everyone enjoyed Black Stone Cherry rocking at the Handlebar.

 

Casey Anthony’s Mother could face perjury charges. Cindy Anthony testified that she was responsible for the internet searches on the family’s home computer information about chloroform. However, records indicate that she was at work at the time.. Cindy probably will not be charged. The Prosecution in the case alleged that Casey killed her daughter Caylee by rendering her unconscious with chloroform, covered her mouth and nose with duct tape, and therefore causing the child to suffocate. One of the alternative jurors said that the Prosecution in the case failed to prove that Casey had motive to kill Caylee.  Casey Anthony will probably get out of jail with time served. As the crowds grow outside the Anthony’s home and courthouse. Many people are upset and shocked with the verdict. I thought to myself, what would I say to Casey Anthony, if I ever saw her face to face? Would I chant baby killer with the crowd? I understand that the community does not want murderers in their neighborhood. I truly hope that she did not kill her own child. If your child drowns, you call 911 and cooperate with the authorities to treat the victim with the most dignity possible. A normal parent would do whatever they do to help their child.  I would tell her that if she did suffocate her own little girl, then she is the most vial creature walking the earth.. I would say I hope you never get pregnant again,. The truth of the matter is Casey will probably have many more children. She will probably make millions from her court case. A murderer is still on the loose.. Whoever profits for from this case is just as evil. Was justice served?

My vacation began with bumpy start. On Friday, I had a sore throat. By Sunday, as the temperatures rose outside, so did my fever. By Monday, it was what we all dreaded a summer cold! It is a very cruel thing, that summer time cold. You feel bad when everything is happy, sunny, and full of life. Much like the group I took up to the mountains with me; my two dogs, and my Step Son. We were on vacation and nothing could stop us. I loaded my car, and up the mountain we went. Over packed and all, curve by curve, until we reached Cedar Mountain.  Finally, we drove into my property everyone couldn’t wait to get out of the car and go and head to the lake. Fortunately, we were able to unload the car and get into our swimsuits just before the thunder storm hit. As the days past, my cold got better and things were fine. My Grandmother said , the mountains were ”God’s Country.”   I believe that she was right.  I was blessed to be able to have summers like that.  I grew up in California, during the summer I was sent to my Grand Parents in South Carolina. With the beginning of every summer,  I would hope that everything would have stayed the same. And every year, I was excited to find Ollie was still working at his store in Cedar Mountain. He made the best milkshakes in the world.

So, I wanted to create the same sort of memories for my son. We took many trips to Brevard. Almost every day, we headed into town to the toy store.  I told Jared that we visited it so much that they erected a statue in his honor.  Overall, the week went so fast. I relaxed and had so much fun with the wonderful folks in North Carolina.

I can’t wait to go back.!

The long awaited sci fi- collaboration between Steven Spielberg and J.J. Abrams, “Super 8 is finally in the theaters. The movie was Directed by Abrams and Produced by Spielberg. The plot takes you back to 1971 with a group of Middle School kids who make a movie on Super 8 millimeter film. While shooting a scene the crew accidentally captures footage of a violent train crash. At this scene the movie is well foreshadowed for what happens in the end of the film. Shortley after the wreck, the crew found military personel surrounding the wreck and a alien escaping from the scene. It was interesting that there were no The biggest consensus among the alien theorist is that Area 51 is not only hiding captured spacecraft and aliens, but that they’re retro-engineering the technology they’ve found in there, and are probably working on biological experiments -cloning and hybridization and the like. Maybe it will you remind you of an X-Files episode almost a decade ago, so all these claims need to be taken with a grain of salt, but the really hard to stomach idea in this is that people can’t come up with technological advances on their own. Computers, stealth technology, lazers, the internet– pretty much any major advancement in the last half of the 20th century could be attributed to stuff found in a UFO, sure, and people will take it at face value because they have little understanding of how tech happens and evolves. The explanation of the opposing force, the skeptics, makes more sense: they say that Area 51 really just hides and tests the super-secret projects and experiments the government won’t admit it’s spending billions of dollars on. We know that the books get cooked all the time to hide where money is actually going. What’s another dozen or so great story, but using the story as a smoke screen is also a conspiracy– isn’t that good enough? Isn’t that enough to be concerned about? And here’s more: Because the experiments are secret, they’re exempt from environmental control issues, and they’ve been known to burn off weird chemicals with little regard or help for those who get sick because of the fumes. Why waste time on supposed aliens that may or may not exist when real humans, not far from the base, are getting real illnesses and no help for them? Why isn’t anyone but Jesse bringing up that there are actual lies that have been told to the populace for six decades?: And maybe, Spielberg knows a little bit more about life from other planets then the rest of us Earthlings.  It was strange that there weren’t any heavy hitting actors in the movie, especially since it is released during the summer time. Maybe it was intended to be more of an artistic film than a action thriller. Dakota fanning sister, Elle Fanning is one of the kids. Kyle Chandler from “Friday Night Lights” in the town sheriff and the father of the protagonist in the film. I didn’t have the heart wrenching feeling that E.T. gave me. It wasn’t a loveable alien who ate “Reece’s Pieces.” This was something violent and hard to contain. However, the message was quite clear on tolerance for people from other planets. The military turned the alien into a monster.

I then watched “ Jesse Ventura’s Conspiracy Theory.”, which I thought was quite strange considering I just watched Super 8. The movie made me think of the possibility that our government could be holding aliens captive. Jesse’s team came up with a theory on this episode that the Government secretly farms hybrid Alien/human beings. Could our military be filled with black-op ”goon” like the military men in Super 8. Frightening covert operations doing unthinkable things without our knowledge. So, once again people are migrating to Roswell to see if they could find a real alien. It is the biggest conspiracy in America. So here comes a flood of people who think that the Govornment hides aliens and downed UFO’s. Its hard to believe this conspiracy theory Meeting with the usual . Jesse and his team try to take on the biggest conspiracy in America, area 51. Where is it? It a secret airbase 90 miles north of Las Vegas. Many conspiracy theorist’s have tried to enter the compound.

If there are aliens held in area 51, all they want to do is phone home. Super 8 is astory about aliens. It is also story about forgiveness and doing what is right. I believe that the people in our Military want to serve and protect our Country. Do I believe in UFO’s? Yes………if there are other planets in the solar system, then  you bet there are some form of life living on them. Do I want to find out if there are alien bodies hiding in Area 51? I don’t know if it would terrify me, but I would like to know where they came from.

The “You Suck Tour” will happen, despite Nickki Sixx telling Poison that they suck. The two bands kick off their summer tour tomorrow night outside Birmingham, Alabama.

Poison’s Bret Michaels says he can’t understand why Sixx says “negative stuff” about his band. “I want to make it very clear. I’m not a grudge guy, ever,” says Michaels. “They have said a lot of negative stuff about Poison… I don’t know what the rhyme or reason is. I like some of their music. Fans want the tour. I think it could be a great tour for fans if we could just put our feelings aside. I think we can have a great time.” I say the tour gets scrapped one month in. Last year Sully Erna had a problem with Motley Crue. They wrote “Crying like a Bitch ” in their honor. I think both bands haven’t put out any decent new music in a while.  I do however, like the latest Nikki Sixx solo album.  I am interested to see how this will turn out. 

 

Well, after two trips to the Bahamas last year.   I can admit that I am obsessed with pirates . Hopefully, over the summer,  I can make another voyage to the Caribbean.  I believe my love for pirates began as a young child in Disney Land.  My favorite ride at the park was of course, Pirates of the Caribbean.  I was able to go to the Bahamas twice the past year.  On my honeymoon,  I went to the Pirate Museum in Nassau. I was quite interested to learn about Black Beard.  I want to go back and research more about the two female Pirates, Mary Read and Ann Bonny.  Ann was last seen  pregnant and in jail in Nassau. She was the daughter of a South Carolina Plantation Owner.  The locals think that her father paid to have her released from jail.  She returned to South  Carolina to live the life of a Southern Lady.   Kind of funny, since she spent years sailing the seas murdering, thieving,   drinking rum and sleeping around with Pirates.   Black Beard was Beheaded and his head was put on the bow of a ship,  and sailed around the Caribbean.     I watched Pirates of the Caribbean Movies  on TV over the weekend.  Monday, I saw the latest addition. “Pirate of the Caribbean,  On Stranger Tides.”   I was happy to watch  Ian McShane as the legendary Pirate,  Edward Teach, AKA Black Beard.   Penelope Crux was Black Beard’s daughter, and Jacks Sparrow’s long- lost love.  I liked the movie,  and I was glad that they didn’t stick to the historical facts.  Jack Sparrow is not a real pirate.  I don’t think that a Disney movie needs to show the  beheading of Black Beard.   The Queen Anne Revenge was not a magical pirate ship.
