What’s up pissies?

I haven’t blogged in over a month and that’s bad – I know! But I’ve been trying to get away from this topic but I’m tired of being asked. So, from henceforth I will direct those with inquisitive minds here.

So this will go up and be here until I’m sure the Entercom legal team pulls it down. Here goes…

I had a great time when I went to Boston. There. Are you all happy now? I was all over Boston seeing pretty much everything I wanted to except:

-Didn’t get to make it to Salem, Mass to see the witch museums

-The Boston ghost tour didn’t start for another 3 weeks

-And I was going to make a day trip to Rhode Island until I found out 1) I couldn’t really walk into the TAPS “office” and meet the stars of my favorite show “Ghost Hunters” on SciFi and 2) Quahog apparently is not a real place. Bummer.

But I did see a lot and I took some pictures to share with all my MF’ers. So let’s begin, and uh, we shall!

boston-graveyard.JPG

This is a very old graveyard just behind the Boston Commons park. Several big name American patriots are buried here.

SAM ADAMS GRAVE

Here’s the grave of Sam Adams. American Patriot, his beer tastes like urine. (Or what I have been told it tastes like I should say. Who am I to believe Vince?)

PAUL REVERE GRAVE

Paul Revere. The British Are Coming! Beastie Boys song about drinking beer in a desert doing things with wiffle ball bats. Also, a song I feel is played way too much.

TESTICLE TREE

This tree in the graveyard is hangin’ brains.

BOSTON MASSACRE

Here I am standing across the street from the site of The Boston Massacre. Some “massacre.” Only 5 people died in this so called massacre. Don’t get me wrong I hate that 5 people died 250+ years ago – but I feel massacre is a bit strong, don’t you?

graveyard.JPG

Oh yeah, this dude was praying to the grave of this person I didn’t recognize by name. Maybe a family member? Now that I look at the pic closer maybe he’s not praying. Maybe he was stealing the change other folks had left on the grave.

holocaust.JPG

This one is odd. I was standing across the street and saw this glass sculpture, so I said what the hell, smile for the camera! Then I walked across the street and realized it was a Holocaust memorial. The glass was etched with every survivors name. Sorry for smiling and mine apologies to Faybay’s ancestors.

OYSTERS

This is the oldest restaurant in America that is still in business. I could have sworn that dubious title went to the Dairy Queen in Berea. But no! It was this place. Great Chowdah by the way.

TED WILLIAMS

Here I am standing in front of the Ted Williams statue in front of Fenway Park. Above my head you see the gay ghost of Ted right before it tried to go down my britches.

Enough about Bahstun. If you’ve never been there, go. Go now. I had a blast.

I recently saw a plus sized grandma who had recently pissed her pants sitting beside a man wearing a t-shirt that said “I LOVE THAT COUNTRY MUSIC!” Enjoy.

If you answered no, you need to be. All the cool kids are doing it.

And as usual, in closing it’s time for Matt’s Fan Of The Week. This email was from MF’er (Matt Fan)  – Laura.

“Hey Maffew-

I just wanted to send you a note and say how much I love the show and how handsome you are.  I, too, recently went to Boston and I think I may have been there the same time you where, weird huh?  I have included a picture of ME in Boston sitting on the lap of Red Auerbach’s statue – in this case I was imagining YOU were Mr. Auerbach.

 I love you!

-Laura”

RED AUERBACH

Well, thank you Laura.  You are too kind and freakin’ hot as hell.

I’ll be back next week with Chapter 6. Until then, F**KS MY CAR? and God Bless the late career of one Chuck Liddell!
