I was blown away with the performance that Skillet put on at the Birthday Bash!  Just a solid show all around.  Had a chance to sit down and talk with the band and learned some pretty cool stuff.  Korey Cooper, she’s the girl with the black and blue hair, has the hardest job on the tour as she’s plays Wife to John the lead singer and mother/teacher to their two children; Alexandria and Xavier.  The two kids travel with the band and attend an online school, has to be a wild experience living on the road.  On top of all of that and working with the band on new music, Korey has started a book club.. “I know I”m a nerd” she says.  You can find more details about that at the skillet web site.  www.skillet.com

The two singles on the tour are Ben, lead guitar, and Jen Ledger, drummer.  Ben told us he just got a new pillow topper for the bed and if you’ve never tried one its a very safe invest me!  ”The girls love it”  Jen Ledger– well all I can say is a call dibs!  She’s a pretty quite girl till you see her play the drums!  I’m working on getting the band to stop by again sometime soon so I can get a date with the girl..
