This comes to the show from out of San Juan, Puerto Rico.  David Morales Colon was a multiple gunshot victim and at his funeral instead of the normal casket the funeral directors displayed him mounted on his motorcycle!!  This is the actually video from the funeral.   How odd would it be to be there and seeing this dead guy on a bike?!?  What would it smell like!!

HAAAAAAY

Hey everybody, nice weather out today. Matt, Nine, Mark Hendrix, and Stoneman are off to Charlotte to drive racecars, pray for them please because if they die, I don’t have a job, so pray for me to in a way, hell just put me on the list, I need prayers anyway, lol. Twisted Todd and I are going to go see Nightmare On Elm Street today so we will see how it is. I don’t mind going with Todd, he is a horror fanatic like myself so I’m sure we will appreciate each other’s company. Other than that, I’m just sitting in the office watching some tv and finishing the podcast. Kimberly Kelly looks hot on tv, maybe I’ll send some audio to Your Carolina so they won’t use it on that show as well, nonetheless, have a good weekend, if you are out, text me. 864-643-7211 , take care.

Finally!  After waiting for years, my hometown of Simpsonville now boasts a coveted IMAX theater!  Great Escape Theaters has opened the Great Escape 14/IMAX theater on South Rd literally down the road from the church I grew up in and just a few miles from where I was born, grew up and graduated high school.  It is the single most awesome thing in the history of awesome!

But I digress.  Paige had a live broadcast at the Great Escape from 6 until 8 last night in support of the theater’s charitable grand opening as they were (and are through Thursday) offering free movies and popcorn for a suggested $2 donation benefitting the Make-A-Wish Foundation.  I joined her as soon as I got off work so I could see the place for myself (do I even need to mention the size of the crowd or should I say mass horde?!) and later met up with some friends to experience last year’s Star Trek remake on the theater’s magnificent IMAX screen!

During the film, it occurred to me just how awesome it was that I was watching a killer movie on a huge IMAX screen and still just a short driving distance from my very own bed and not in Florida, Charlotte, Charleston or the Mall of Georgia in Buford, GA!  Words cannot even describe the feeling that gives me!  I have found a new home (not very far) away from home!

Hey beware the next time you cheat everyone know it!  I mean everyone in the world…  There’s a growing database of cheaters with all the juicy details on line.

The web site is CheaterRegistry.com! This web site makes it possible for men and women to upload names of cheaters, all the steamy details.   The wild thing is that is all started a little over a month ago and has already hit 10,000 sign-ups!  What do you think is there right?  They are cheaters in the end but should everyone know their business? Would you check this site out if you are dating someone new just to see if they are on it?

Wus

Posted in: Uncategorized

We made fun of Jeff Lewis Neal pretty hard this morning. He has this little pet thing he does with his girlfriend where they say, “Wus you, babes!” Naturally, we went after that like a pack of dogs. Well, Matt and I. We realized people seemed to really think it’s funny. So yesterday we sat around singing karaoke for a little while after the show. We came up with such classics as Wus of a Wifetime by Firehouse and Wus Game by Lady GaGa. Also Power of Wus by Huey Lewis and What’s Wus Got to do With it by Tina Turner! I really do hope this is a never-ending joke as long as there are love songs to make fun of. Here are some of my thoughts for future renditions:
Feel Like Makin’ Wus
Wus me Tender
I’ll Make Wus to You
Teenager in Wus
Baby Wus
Can’t Buy me Wus
All You Need is Wus
Game of Wus
Wus in an Elevator
Stop! In the Name of Wus
All You Need is Wus
Hello, I Wus You
Tainted Wus
Let You Wus Flow

Do feel free to make suggestions. We like singing karaoke at the expense of Jeff Lewis Neal, or anyone else for that matter.

pissySup guyyyyys, pissies, brothers, and the like-

Karate Kid.  We’ve all seen this classic starring the likes of Ralph Macchio and Pat Morita.  Daniel-san is a kid from Jersey who moves into a new town and is being bullied by karate dudes who sometimes dress as skeletons while riding their BMX bikes.  Daniel-san, on the other hand, likes rubbing off old cars and wearing shower curtains.  There were 2 good movies under this banner – there was a Karate Kid 3 but of course it sucked out loud.

Have you heard about Karate Kid 4?  Well, it’s not being called “4″  – just renamed Karate Kid.  Weird huh?  Who will play Daniel-san?  Who could do it?  Turtle from Entourage?  No.  Jack Roper?  No.  The Shamwow guy?  No (but he’d play a good Johnny.)  Will Smith’s son is playing Daniel-san.  Yeah, the Italian kid from Jersey is now black.  BTW, Mr. Miyagi is being played by Jackie Chan.  There will be those that call this politically incorrect, but Will Smith’s kid shouldn’t be playing Daniel-san.  It’s a different story!  The Italian kid from Jersey is now a black kid with cornrows.  Yeah, yeah, yeah call me racist but it’s not.  I love that kid in the “Pursuit of Happiness.”  It’s like when they did the “Honeymooners” movie with a black cast.

The problem is Hollywood is so dull and uninventive all they can do is remake movies or make TV shows into movies or make a 30 second Saturday Night Live sketch into a movie – Macgruber!  So they think if they remake the movie but change it up even if ever so subtle that they’re putting their spin on it – making it their own as they say.

Well I say, horsecrap!  Imagine “Boys In The Hood” with white guys or “3 Men and A Baby” with Tony “Zeus” Lister, Bookman from Good Times, and Stephan Urkel (the actor not the MC of The Greenville Drive games.)

The point here is not skin color, religion, or creed (who by the way will be playing a concert before the NASCAR All Star Race) – NO, it’s about Hollywood sucking balls.  Major balls!  Choking on ‘em!  I say no more!  When good movies like “Neato Mosquito can’t get distribution and “Harlem Knights” starring the cast of the Blue Collar Comedy tour can, we have a problem folks.  Until then, I’ll just sit back and watch REAL movies like “The Ringer”, “Freddy Got Fingered”, and “Glitter” and you can tickle my boffhoff.

And uh,

There was definitely no rest for the Twisted this past weekend!  I snuck out of the studio a few minutes early on Friday to go see NICKELBACK, BREAKING BENJAMIN and SICK PUPPIES!  I got to the Bi-Lo Center just in time to catch the PUPS play “Pathetic” and “You’re Going Down”.

BREAKING BENJAMIN made their way to the stage next and I got to catch a handful of songs before going backstage for a brief meet-and-greet with SICK PUPPIES!

NICKELBACK was soon to follow and they put on a good show and Chad was quite the clever frontman as he interacted with the audience and even managed to corrupt a young nine-year-old girl in the front row!  However, I cut out early not being a big NICKELBACK fan and left while they were playing “Friends in Low Places” by GARTH BROOKS!  Really guys?!

I got up early the next morning expecting to get together with the guys for an early morning band rehearsal/brainstorming session.  When my alarm went off I saw I had a text from Burket saying he wasn’t gonna be able to make it.  Instead of going back to sleep, I tossed and turned for a couple of hours then got up and ran to BLVD Music to get a case for my new bass as well as some strings and a killer new tee!

That night I went back to NCW to see our very own Jeff Lewis Neal take on Reid Flair, son of legendary wrestler Ric Flair.  However, Flair was a no-show, but I hung around and joined Mark Hendrix and family to root for JLN as he had the main event regardless.

Sunday I slept in and went to the noon service at Brookwood Church before heading to Chesnee to pick up Melissa, my date for the SKILLET show that night.  Our seats were great as we had VIP seats close to the stage as THE LETTER BLACK opened the show.  RED was next with a killer set that included their cover of DURAN DURAN’s “Ordinary World”.  Then came SKILLET!!!!  I really can’t describe them live, they must be SEEN!

On the way home I managed to get us lost so we rode around Charlotte trying to get back onto I-85 but ended up settling for taking I-77.  The idea was to hit Billy Graham Parkway and hit I-85 from there but I managed to even miss that exit so we had to go through Rock Hill, the home of my alma mater Winthrop University.  We stopped at the Denny’s in Rock Hill for some grub and I ended up talking to a guy who turned out to be a big fan of the show and a new P1 (Stackflu).  He was very enthusiastic about meeting me especially in such a random place and he even paid for my dinner which I discovered only when I went to go pay my bill!

After dropping my date off, I ended up getting home around 1:30 and I was exhausted!  However, I managed to get up early enough to go workout before going into the office.  After work, it was time to suit up and head to band practice which was quite a bit more productive than the previous week as we are starting to formulate a game plan for getting this project off the ground.
