If this works i will surely blog a lot more often.

How about John Ludwig’s bail being revoked because he tried to set some of his own rules when released? Fantastic. He’s proven to be the sort of guy a lot of P1’s have told us he is.
I’m not positive but I believe he was lucky to get out so easily with the provisions set by the court. Then to go act like an idiot as soon as you clear the door is unthinkable. Seems like a guy who has broken down entirely. We’ll be talking more about this case and trial as they go on. We don’t shy away even if it would be for the best so tune in for the morning. Paige will give you the jumbled facts while Maffew, Faybay and myself concoct hairbrained theories about this and that. You won’t find it that way anywhere else on the dial.

Lots of new things going on. Lots of things going on in general. It’s always a busy time of year for us but it feels especially busy this year with all of the Test Fest events along with the Crawfish Boil and BMW Pro-Am. It’s a lot of fun, to be honest about the whole thing. It’s great to be out so many places doing so many things with so many different people.

That’s my new tattoo. The finished product, finally. I’ll post a better picture than a blurry cell phone shot. It’s quite beautiful. More quality work from Eddie Lamb. I have the idea for the next tattoo I’ll eventually get. Not going to spill it just yet, however.

Lots going on. Not sure who to like in the big UFC fight later this month. Machida and Evans are undefeated beasts in the octagon. I’ll say Machida because his all-around fight game is probably better. Still, Evans is good at knocking people out. An exciting fight that definitely shouldn’t be overshadowed by Brock Lesnar and Frank Mir. Then again Jose Canseco fighting a 7′2″ Korean war machine is overshadowing everything in my mind because I love the circus for the sideshow.

I mentioned the BMW Pro-Am being one of many events we’ll be part of in the month of May. I’ll be at Thornblade for round one in about nine hours. Right around 5AM at the big clubhouse. We’re doing tomorrow’s show live from a balcony outside the room where golfers eat an amazing breakfast. Just by our proximity, we also get the benefit of the awesome breakfast. It’s every man’s dream, really. Big time golf is in town and your job is to go hang out on a balcony overlooking the course watching Kordell Stewart eat sausage.  I’ll tell you this, Kordell Stewart seems to be a guy who may like to eat a lot of sausage. All sorts of sausages. But I bet not many people actually get to catch Kordell Stewart eating sausage in the flesh.

Some former Gamecocks are there, too. Sterling Sharpe and George Rogers will be on hand playing a round. Interesting tidbit: The Tennessee Volunteers have kicked more players off the football team than any other NCAA team for violating team rules.* Specifically, trying to snort the goal line.** Travis Henry tried to sell an end zone to the CIA.***

*Not true

**Totally just made that all up.

***Possible.

Now this may sound a little biased since I am a Clemson fan but all that aside, you have to give my boy Kyle Parker credit for what he is accomplishing on the baseball field. .287 batting average, with 10 homeruns and 47 RBI. He is a heavy hitter on his team but is also the possible starting QB for the football team this fall……or is he?

We all remember Chris Weinke, Florida State QB who was drafted out of high school by the Toronoto Blue Jays organization to play professional baseball. Obviously he returned to the college game and went on to the NFL for a stint, but that isn’t the point. What you ask yourself is, will the MLB get to Kyle Parker before he gives football a chance?

Can we blame him if he were to leave and take guaranteed money? Would we pass it up? I know I would go. Now granted I know it doesn’t work out in every situation, main example being roscoe crosby, but parker is putting up these numbers in college ball. Putting these numbers up in a conference that currently has five of its twelve members ranked in the top twenty five, Clemson included. Two of those teams, North Carolina, and Florida State ranked in the top 10.

I think it is a fair question, and the only thing we can do is see what happens. You guys want some reading material, follow the link. For all us Clemson fans, lets hope Kyle stays around to battle for a starting job on the gridiron.
